PsycheHike® is a walking/hiking meditation in a beautiful outdoor setting that enhances physical, mental and spiritual well-being. It is especially effective for those who find it difficult to sit still for long periods of time and meditate.
With our minds silenced, we can take in the outer and inner world with a deep awareness—the outer beauty of the Colorado mountains and the inner beauty of our souls. We can begin to perceive things about our surroundings that have previously gone unnoticed–their uniqueness, beauty and mystic perfection in which all are woven and relate to one another.
A new world is opened up to us–and going even deeper, we can experience the underlying unity and oneness of all life and our part in it. We can listen to the music that plays within our hearts—the songs that long to be heard!

Participants will:
- Become conscious of unconscious desires, wishes, and illuminations, not easily accessible during normal waking consciousness;
- Through exercise (specifically the effects of deep breathing on the mind and body), reduce the “Stress Response” and achieve homeostasis—
- Surround themselves with nature’s beauty and healing effects;
*Meditative movement (as in walking/and or hiking) has been found beneficial for those individuals who are unable to turn off the “mind chatter” long enough to reach the meditative state. Psyche-Hike™ offers individuals a chance to rejuvenate, reawaken, and restore their mind, body and soul, through the powerful integration of exercise and meditation.
